🎭 About Ayami
Musical theatre, dance, and singing have always been my biggest passions . There is nothing quite like the magic of stepping into the spotlight, bringing a character to life, and connecting with an audience.
I’ve been fortunate to play a wonderfully diverse range of roles, from the wit and accuracy of Marcy Park (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) to the bold energy of Sharpay Evans (High School Musical) and Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice) to the quirky charm of Little Red Riding Hood (Into the Woods). I love being a part of incredible organizations such as Diamond Head Theatre’s Shooting Stars, Ohana Arts, Mid-Pacific School of the Arts, and Hongwanji PA‘A.
One of my most meaningful experiences has been playing Aiko in Peace on Your Wings, using the power of story to promote peace and hope—a beautiful journey that even took me across the ocean to perform for audiences in Fukuoka and Hiroshima, Japan!
Dedicated to constantly sharpening my craft, I train extensively in voice, ballet, tap, and musical theatre. I am also incredibly excited to be expanding my horizons and taking my training to the next level at USC this summer!
When I’m not in rehearsals, you can usually find me hanging out with my friends at the mall or beach. I am endlessly grateful to the mentors and directors who help me grow every day. Thank you for stopping by—I can’t wait to keep creating and performing with heart! 💜
